I just discovered your music a few weeks ago, I am not sure why it took so long, but I am enjoying it very much. Thanks!
I am writing new songs, with Japan in my mind and heart and soul, songs of healing and love for Japan and all my friends and fans who live there.

Hirth, my good friend. Just got back from a summer in Europe and thought about you often, and then I come home and there's a note from you!. Your music still gives me chills and your friendship is true. Honored to know and love you. Thanks for dropping me a line! Time to call... Johnny D.

Hi Chris, you can try amazon.com and maybe itunes. They sometimes carry Hirth's songs. You can also hear Hirth at myspace. Good hunting! Hirth's songs are a treasure. Lyrically perfect, perfect rhymes, sophisticated melodies. There are some nice new covers too.

Hi!! I bought a two LP set called "Limo" recently from Reckless Records. "Limo" is a two LP sampler that Warner Brothers put out in 1977. Just one of many the label put out in the seventies. Anyway, "Nothin Iz' New" is contained on the sampler set. I gave the set to a friend of mine who I knew would appreciate it. My friend and I were enjoying "Nothin Iz' New". It's a great song

Hi there!!!! :)I'm just craving some Hirth right now........I've been inspired by Hirth ever since first hearing his music on "Chicano Music Chronicles". I've listened to the five songs on his MySpace. I am really on a hunt for his albums and I may just come across them one day.......

Aloha! I've had a "Hirth from Earth" plaster bust promo item for some 33 years now. It's been living in my garden for the past sixteen years, and I just recently got around to cleaning it up some. (It was quite funky, perhaps rightfully so!) Anyway, doing this made me want to google you, which has led me here... Nice to finally find out a little something about you after all these years! (Maybe I should get the record, too?) Aloha!

Weren't you the Robert Hirth that provided the music for Erika's Hot Summer? I loved the opening song and that is how I got on track to your real name. Is that song available anywhere? It's a great one.

Howdy Hirth fans! I'm so happy to finally find a Hirth Martinez website!! Question: Why are his other albums unavailable on iTunes? Where can I find a copy of I Love to Play for You??? It's a great album from what I've heard.

I've been a fan since the first album. I can remember sitting around with friends and listening to music in the 70's. I would always have to play Hirth. There was and is no one like him. I turned on a lot of people to Hirth's music. I bought 2 copies of each of those Warner Bros. albums so I would always have one available for listening. How quaint those times were! I still love my vinyl copies but I'm going to have to get them in the digital domain and I'm really anxious to hear the newer stuff. Long live Hirth!
